Yogi Bio

In 2016, Justine moved back to Brooklyn, NY where a family emergency forced a revaluation of her priorities in life. What emerged from this tragic experience was a moment of clarity and a deep desire to combine her long-held love of scuba diving and her joy of practicing yoga. Yoga initially served as a way to better control her breathing while working in scientific scuba diving, but became an outlet for self-care during this emotional time.

Justine's work in the field of archaeology currently works in tandem with her journey on this new path forward in wellness, meditation, and spirituality. She has created a new yogic unity between the terrestrial and the submerged. She is the creator of SirenYogaβ„’- the world's only fully breathable underwater yoga practice. In addition, she offers private at-home yoga instruction (body alignment flow, gentle flow, yin, restorative styles), kids and teens yoga, and group yoga events. Global seasonal retreats are in the works.

Justine is a body alignment-based 200hour Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance.
